Introduction

Established in 1984, the Department of English caters to all the three streams Arts, Commerce and Science. It is one of the best departments of Late Rajkamalji Bharti Arts, Commerce and Smt. S. R Bharti Science, College, Arni affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. With highly qualified and experienced faculty, the Department functions with two (02) regular teacher viz. Mr. Sadanand N. Bole, Assistant Professor and Head and Mr. Milind M.Pande Assistant Professor. The Department encourages and motivates the students and provides opportunities to tap their talents. It carries out many student-centric activities to develop life skills along with academic excellence in students. The Department provides a strong platform for students to explore their talents by organizing various departmental events like elocution competition, debate competition, seminar, presentation, group discussion etc. The Department runs three best practices- ‘Word of the Day’ and ‘Idioms and Phrases’, ‘Meet a Literati’ and the ‘Graamgeeta Jivan Vikas Examination’.

Many of our students have been passed / cleared NET /SET examination and secured jobs as an assistant professor in many a reputed educational institutions.
